Investors, please note that in accordance with SEBI Master Circular No. SEBI/HO/IMD/IMD-PoD1/P/CIR/2024/90 dated June 27, 2024, SEBI’s email dated January 28, 2022, and AMFI clarification dated January 30, 2022, Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company Limited temporarily suspended transactions in the Kotak Global Emerging Market Fund from February 02, 2022, to avoid breaching industry-wide overseas limits set by RBI.
SEBI, via letter No. SEBI/HO/OW/IMD-II/DOF3/25095/2022 dated June 17, 2022, has allowed Mutual Funds to resume subscriptions and investments in overseas funds/securities up to the headroom available as of February 01, 2022.
As a result, Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company Limited will resume subscriptions through Lump Sum, Fresh Systematic Registration (SIP/STP), Switch-out, or installments of STP/DTP transactions in the Kotak Global Emerging Market Fund starting from September 04, 2024 (“Effective date”).
The total overseas investment limit will remain capped at the level as of the end of February 01, 2022, to comply with the SEBI directive. The AMC reserves the right to suspend subscriptions if the headroom limit is approached.For more details, read the addendum.
